Wednesday 4th May: Following on from the success of the Aegon GB Davis Cup winning team last November, Sutton Tennis Academy is pleased to have been selected to take part in The Davis Cup Legacy project; inspiring the next generation of children and their families to pick up a racket and play tennis.

New, state of the art court lighting comes to Sutton Tennis Academy

Monday 5th October 2015:  Tennis, like many sports, relies on carefully designed lighting to deliver the high illuminance levels required for standard and competitive play. Crucial to both the designer and the fixture manufacturer is minimising glare and shadow while also ensuring the court is as evenly lit as possible.

The Sutton Tennis Academy Autumn Tournament dates revealed

Thursday 1st October 2015:  The Sutton Tennis Academy Autumn Tournament will be taking place at The Sports Village Sunday 18th to Saturday 25th October 2015.  The tournament is a regional level grade 3 LTA competition for players from 10&U up to Men’s/Ladies Open.

Once again, the tournament has attracted a strong entry with several high ranked national junior players taking part.

Players are attending from all over the country which is unusual for a regional competition.

Surrey Junior Teams Playoff comes to Sutton Tennis Academy

27th August 2015: Bank Holiday Monday sees Sutton Tennis Academy play host to the Surrey Junior Teams Playoff.

All teams that won their divisions in this years Surrey AEGON Junior Team Tennis competitions will play off against one another in a round robin format.

With 25 teams taking place, the four categories on the day will be girls U12, boys U12, girls U16 and boys U16.

This will be the first time that this event has been played and what should be a very exciting day of tennis!
