New Head Coach of Sutton Tennis Academy!

Monday 8th February: Following the recent departure of Head Coach, Neil Carter, we are pleased to announce Shaun Malcolm as the new Head Coach of Sutton Tennis Academy, with immediate effect.

Having worked alongside Neil for 9 years, Shaun is the natural candidate to take over the reins, having demonstrated his skills, experience and performance in this area.  As an established, respected and much liked member of the STA coaching team he is well known to all players.  We welcome him to the new role and look forward to him driving forward the success of Sutton Tennis Academy and all our players.
Shaun has worked as Head of Junior Performance here at Sutton Tennis Academy for the past 5 years.  In this time the Academy has focussed on developing players from an early age through Mini Tennis and helping them to develop into our Pro Academy.  It is fantastic to see that many of our promising juniors have come through this system.  Shaun's achievements also include the 2006 BTCA Young Coach of the Year Award and in 2011 his Surrey U14 boys team won the County Cup.
With regards to the rest of the coaching team Andy Jeffery continues his responsibilities as Head of Development Tennis; including Sutton Tennis School and STA Disability Tennis programmes with Paul Baker remaining as Head of Adult Tennis.
We are pleased to announce that Jamie Feaver becomes Head of Performance Tennis and Ross Sheppardbecomes Head of the STA Cheam High Scholarship programme.
At this exciting time for British Tennis, Sutton Tennis Academy continually strives to provide the best quality coaching and guidance for all our players, within our fantastic facilities and we are proud of the dedication and performance of all STA Coaching staff.
