Sutton said “Goodbye to the Qatar Camps” this week!

After a great two week stay with us here at the Sutton Tennis Academy we say goodbye to our latest Qatar camp. We look forward to them joining us again next year and welcome their touring group here in London!

Lily reaches the quarter finals at Swiss Junior Open after beating the no.1 seed on route!

Sutton Tennis Academy player Lily Miyazaki reached the quarter finals of the Swiss Junior Open, grade 4 last week! A great result in the third round as she defeated the number one seed Sonja Larsen ranked 178 ITF. Next up for Lily is the up and coming British Tour in Kent!

Sacha Modica wins the singles & doubles at Bournemouth U14′s ETA!

A great week for STA player Sacha Modica as he takes both titles in the boys U14′s singles and doubles event at Bournemouth ETA! A grade 3 event which saw Sacha dominating the main draw. His European U14′s ranking stands currently at 238!
 
Well done Sacha and best of luck for the remainder of the summer.

A good week last week with STA players competing well at Solihull and winning Oxford!

Sutton Tennis Academy had 16 players competing in the U9′s to U14′s at the Solihull International Junior tournament. All players competed great and represented Sutton well. Anusha Schutz, Zack Norman and Vraj Patel made quarter finals in their events. Well done guys!
 
During the same week Melanie Vaxevanakis won the grade 3 event at Oxford!

Sutton Tennis Academy player Melanie Vaxevanakis wins the grade 3 event at Oxford

A busy week for the Sutton junior players as a number of them compete at Solihull and Oxford. Congratulations to Mel who won the U18′s event at the Penny & Sinclair Junior Tennis Championships Grade 3 event in Oxford.

Tennis Australia back on court here at Sutton Tennis Academy

Tennis Australia returned to the centre this week to continue their training here at Sutton Tennis Academy.  Training on the outdoor hard alongside our Men’s and Women’s High Performance squads.
 
French camps head into their last few days of here at the academy with matches in progress and last English sessions coming to an end.

Second week for the French Camp and Qatar Camp start training tomorrow!

An exciting week at Sutton Tennis Academy! Our French camp begin their second week here with us after a busy weekend visiting Wimbledon and London. Tomorrow our Qatar camp start their training here at the academy.
 
A busy week for them all here at the High Performance Academy and a great opportunity for them to improve their tennis and English.
